Wayland across the line first but Shannon crosses second and wins by 28 seconds...on 3 wheels. It was exciting to watch. I'm not sure being there would have been that exciting.

Not yet. Next month I will be making a great package deal. I wish you all the best, but between my age, three heart attacks and a bunch of cancer, I'm done racing. I've got some cleaning up to do on the car which I will start next weekend and I need to repaint the trailer, because it too will be a part of the package as well as three fire suits, nomex underwear (brand new), a spare fuel cell and a bunch of tools etc. I will post it all when it is ready to go. da Bear

Hey you guys and girls , these races are happening and super fun , the schedule has been up for a couple months ... so no more excuses just come out and race!!! The only thing missing is is you. All this talk about "who's going ? "and "I'm only If their going"... is crap I went to Reno race last weekend. Track was changed with a different direction and little Goat trail section. So fun ! YOU MISSED IT !!! Huge turn out , lots of action. If Vorra is suffering ......you only have yourselves to blame. Its not Facebook , The new owners , This website , the entry fees , the rain .Etc Its just just people being lazy. I rented a Uhaul pick up for $19.95, took three tires, a gas jug, and a bottle of whiskey and ToRE it up!!!!

Hey 9Iron, Yep...Hawthorne track was run by 10 Vorra cars/trucks only. 5 were class 10. A lot of desert for a few cars. Felt great to be there. A big big rock got in our way....BAM! haha No body on forum, no body in races. I guess it's defunked. I just put in a 5 speed sequential tranny and a set of bipass Fox shocks on the front so I'm going to race somewhere. Heck race...play whatever it takes. No moss going to grow on this buggy. Yeeehaaa!! Don"t know where as of yet. Probably get her ready to qualify for the Regionals at Glen Helen. Ryan Sargent said there is a class for desert buggies. Good enough for me. I'll be looking for other venues. I want to stay right here in Vorra.
