In a Ranger race truck, with mastercraft tight webbed window nets on the inside of the doors.. short course and desert... do the side windows need to be rolled down while racing? Or can they be up?
I'm assuming they must be down in case of shattered glass (although a windshied, and rear window obviously dont need to be pulled). I've seen pictures of trucks in other series with the windows half way up or all the way up. Just eliminates the need for dropping the money on air pumpers and keeps some classyness on the race course..

Hi Ryan,
Our Chief tech Inspector is out of town so I had a look at the rules and cannot find anything that prohibits side windows. Nets are naturally still mandatory and must be removable for quick and simple egress from the vehicle. So as I see it... roll 'em up and race!
